1 Year Labor Warranty
Eligible hardwood flooring installations matched through HardwoodFlooringCalculator.com can be backed by a one-year labor warranty after the job is confirmed and completed by a participating installer.
What the warranty can cover
The labor warranty is designed for installation workmanship issues on eligible completed jobs. It applies after a participating installer confirms the final scope, completes the project, and the warranty terms are satisfied.
- Flooring pieces that come loose, lift, or were incorrectly placed because of installation workmanship
- Trim, thresholds, quarter round, or shoe molding pieces that come loose from installation workmanship
- Transitions between surfaces that were installed incorrectly
- Installation-related damage that did not exist before the job
- Leveling or fit issues caused by the installation work itself
What is not covered
- Product damage, normal wear and tear, scratches, dents, stains, or manufacturer defects
- Damage caused by water, flooding, excessive moisture, leaks, pets, misuse, neglect, or accidents
- Work performed, repaired, altered, or modified by someone outside the participating installer relationship
- Subfloor, slab, structural, moisture, mold, plumbing, appliance, or general renovation conditions outside flooring labor
- Calculator estimates, displayed contractor information, or unconfirmed installer pricing
How a claim works
If you believe a completed eligible installation has a covered labor issue, contact support within 12 months of completion. We may ask for photos, the project address, installer details, and a description of the issue so the work can be reviewed.
- Send clear photos of the issue and the surrounding floor area
- We review the claim and may coordinate with the participating installer
- If approved, the covered labor issue can be corrected according to the warranty terms
